This result was the same obtained in the first analysis, made with the samples taken on the day they arrived in Brazil from Wuhan, the Chinese city epicenter of the new coronavirus.
Although Caiado mentioned that this is the third exam, the Goiás Department of Health (GO) stated that it is the second.
According to the secretariat informed to the G1 portal, the third exam will be carried out on the 14th day of the quarantine.
The Ministry of Health said that based on the result of this second examination, it could reevaluate the possibility of releasing the team that sought returnees in China before the end of the quarantine.
