Asus ZenBook: new 13 “, 14” and 15 “models are coming!
With a new, more compact design, a frameless NanoEdge screen on all four sides and ultra-thin edges, the new Asus line is already available in pre-sale until February 20th.
Asus presented this Friday the new range of portable computers ZenBook, that is already available in pre-sale, with 13, 14 and 15 inches.
Compared to the previous generation, they are lighter, have smaller dimensions and feature a frameless NanoEdge design, with a 95% screen-to-body ratio.
The almost borderless screen has Full HD resolution, and all models feature a metal-trimmed lid that blends blue and gold.
The ZenBook 13 and 14 are equipped with the new NumberPad, which solves the problem of the lack of keypad that was verified in the previous models of this range.
Touching the NumberPad icon in the upper right corner of the touchpad reveals a full-size LED-illuminated numeric keypad, allowing for quick and intuitive input of data or calculations.
The ZenBook 15 has a traditional physical numeric keypad.
“This is a model of evolution and this is a market that has an exciting demand. It is a market with some fidelity because we have people who have bought a ZenBook from previous generations and that now will probably acquire the latest model.”
All models have a 3D infrared (IR) camera installed at the top of the NanoEdge screen, which features dark-display functionality to ensure a more effective face-up.
The new ZenBook features connectivity that includes a USB Type-C port for connections in any orientation and USB 3.1 Gen 2 data transfers (up to 10Gbps).
It also includes a traditional Type-A USB port (up to 5 Gbps or 10 Gbps) and USB 2.0.
All models include a full-size HDMI port and a microSD or SD card reader.
The ErgoLift hinge, in addition to automatically tilting the keyboard to the most comfortable typing position, is designed to allow a more calculated slope, which improves cooling performance and audio resonance quality.
“We have great expectations with the ZenBook line as we are serving a wider market than before. Now we have the creative side also included, a better graphics card and performance that make this laptop a piece of very effective equipment in video editing and photography.”
