The latest Mortal Kombat will celebrate Halloween with an event that brings new skins to customize the fighters. It's called Masquerade Skin Pack and brings new clothes for the Jade, Kabal and Liu Kang characters, all themed. Check out the trailer.
"Calavera" Liu Kang's skin is inspired by Mexican paintings of Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday celebrated in November. Jade's suit is obviously an evil witch, inspired by the Wizard of Oz's "Wicked Witch of the West" witch.
The fact that Kabal will appeal to fans of horror movies. The design of his skin was very much inspired by the killer Jason Vorhees from the Friday 13th movies. The skin is called "Psycho Killer Kabal" and has a hockey mask similar to Jason's. In addition, the coat completes the attire.
The event will bring news as new items and Brutalities
In addition to the skins, the whole game will get a new look to celebrate Halloween. During the fighting it will be possible to see bats, flying witches and pumpkins falling. Some of the elements will be integrated into the fighting.
