The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, which awards records of hilarious wildlife moments, announced this year's winners.

Are you one of those who have fun watching animal pictures for hours on the internet? The Comedy Wildlife Awards annually awards the best photos of its kind – and announced today the winners of the 2019 edition.
The photo above, taken by photographer Sarah Skinner, was the big winner. And it has a suggestive title: Grab Life by the…. She was chosen from 40 finalists, who in turn were selected from 8,000 photos from 68 countries.
The Comedy Wildlife Awards were created five years ago by two photographers, Tom Sullam and Paul Joynson-Hicks, and use humor to draw attention to the conservation of animals. The award works in partnership with the Born Free Foundation, a British animal conservation and rights organization.
The jury is made up of a team of experts: in addition to the founders, there are supporters, photographers and journalists who are experts in wildlife. Skinner's photo taken in Botswana also took another trophy, the Creatures of the Land Award. With that, she also wins, as part of the awards, a safari through Kenya.
Comedy Wildlife also awarded other photos. The image below, for example, of two birds in Croatia, took the Spectrum Photo Creatures of the Air Award, aimed at birds:
This cute otter, photographed by Harry Walker, won two awards: audience choice and aquatic animals. Deserved, no?
Already this sequence of photos took the Amazing Internet Portfolio Award. The images, titled Loves Comes First, depict Cape Earth squirrels, a species found in southern Africa, on a romantic journey that seems to culminate in a kind of “marriage”:
