Great news for the world of K-pop: KCON 2020 announced on Thursday (January 16) its dates and events in three different countries.
The Korean cultural convention and music festival will host four different events this year: two in Asia and two in the US.
The first will be held in Makuhari Messe, Tokyo, April 3-5, followed by the New York stage June 12-14, which will return to the Javits Center. Most will take place in Los Angeles from August 27-30 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and the final stage of KCON 2020 will arrive at Bangkok's Impact Arena & Exhibition Center from September 26-27. Concert venues for events in the USA have not yet been announced.
Although this year's KCONs show schedule has yet to be announced, the past few years have seen people like BTS, TWICE, Seventeen and many other K-pop artists who performed in the last nine years of the event, which originated in California in 2012.
