Renowned Latin music publicist John Reilly launched his own public relations agency called JRPR Music & More, Billboard reveals today (July 16).
Reilly, formerly senior vice president of the Rogers & Cowan music department and whose longtime clients include Juanes and Los Tigres del Norte, will be joined by publicist Sylvia Bedrosian.
Initial customers for the new JRPR Music & More include Juanes, Rosalia, Los Tigres del Norte, The Hispanic Heritage Awards, The Mavericks, Lunay, Sebastian Yatra, San Pedro, Yerba Buena and their founder, producer Andres Levin.
With over 30 years in the music industry, Reilly is known as one of the first mainstream advertisers who not only won over Latin customers, but also gave them opportunities in the media and television, as well as major events that went beyond the Latin world, including the Grammy, Tonight Show, Super Bowl, World Cup and several inaugural performances by the White House, to name a few.
His prolific career also includes press work for artists such as Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Juan Luis Guerra, Blondie, Dru Hill, Romeu Santos, Calle 13 and many others.
The two main ads for JRPR Music & More this week include the highly anticipated new single and video “Relations” released today (July 16), as well as Visitor’s La Cabra Jala Pal Monte on Friday (July 17) ).
