Laptops and a foldable smartphone mark the beginning of the year for the Chinese company.

Huawei presented the first news for 2019 today, at an event held on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress that starts this Monday in Barcelona.

The first product to be shown was the new Matebook X Pro model, which uses aluminum as the primary material and retains basically the same design as last year’s model, but with new colors: Space Gray and Mystic Silver.

The new model also has a new logo on the cover (which dispensed with the traditional flower of Huawei), a touch screen with 91% body to screen ratio, Thunderbolt 3 connections with speeds up to 40 Gbps and Wi-Fi capable of high speeds higher than the previous model.

Inside are Intel processors of the eighth generation, i3, i5, and i7.

The graphics have also been updated with the new GTX 250 GPUs from Nvidia.

These new computers include the new Huawei Share OneHop system, which allows users, with Huawei smartphones, to share data between their smartphone and PC automatically, by placing the phone next to the computer.

For example, the user can copy a piece of text on the phone and pass it to the clipboard of the PC to paste.

This system also supports photos and videos.

Even in the field of computers was also presented the Matebook 14, which, as the name implies, has a 14-inch touch screen with 2160 X 1440 pixel resolution, with an Intel Core i7 8565U, and a Geforce MX 250.

In this model Thunderbolt, USB Type-C, Type-A and HDMI output are also present.

The new PCs will be available in March in most European countries, with prices starting at €999 for the Matebook 13 with Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage.

The most expensive model will cost €1399 and has an Intel Core i7 processor, the same features as RAM and SSD, but the screen is touch sensitive.

The 14-inch screen model will cost €1199 with Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of SSD, the model with Intel Core i7 processor will cost €1499, has the same features and touch screen.

The high-end Matebook X Pro will cost €1599 with an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD, the Intel Core i7 version costs € 1999 and has a 16GB RAM and 1TB of SSD.
