How To Get Yourself Into A Peak State

Have you ever been in a situation where you weren’t thinking about anything else, where you were completing one single task and you seemed to shut out the rest of the outside world. You were very excited about something on the computer or a project you were working on, or a deadline you had to meet, and you looked up and realised that many hours had passed without your knowledge. This is called a peak state, this is where you are the most productive, you’re the happiest and you’re getting the most things done within the minimum amount of pain. Getting yourself into a peak state is the secret to getting a lot of things done.

If you’re one of those people who has been delaying or procrastinating making joint ventures, getting traffic set up, creating content products or articles then getting into a peak state is going to be the first step towards turning on that productivity switch any time you want. You can do this with three simple steps.

First of all walk or exercise. Think about your reason why and hit the ground running in any task already motivated. My way of getting excited and getting my gears in my brain turning is to simply go outside and take a walk. Any kind of physical activity or exercise will get your blood flowing and change the state in your mind. But many people don’t like exercise so a good alternative is to go outside and walk around the block. Studies have shown that any addiction, this could be addictions such as eating, drinking, smoking or even checking social media, any addiction can be fixed by walking around for 10 minutes until the feeling passes. Walking will give you extra clarity, it will help you to focus and in the long run it’s good for you.

When you walk around I want you to think about the end goal you want, I want you to think about the reason why you’re doing what you’re doing. Money alone isn’t it, you’re trying to earn money for one of several reasons. You might want a better life for your family, a better life for your spouse, a better life for yourself. You might want to travel, go on vacation, retire early, move to a better area. But you have a good goal, a tangible but also emotional reason why you’re doing what you’re doing. If you think about that then what you’re really doing when you are getting things done and being productive is moving your entire life towards that exciting, fun, emotional goal.

By association it is now fun to do those tasks that you might have dreaded previously. Now that you have taken a walk, you have thought about your reason why, now it’s time to hit the ground running and get a lot of things done. Here’s what I mean, if you sit down and write a blog post, can you two blog posts, If you’re creating two articles, can you make ten articles, If you’re contacting ten people a day to join your affiliate program or your offer, can’t you contact 30 people instead, This is will make sure that you’re always going above and beyond, you’re not just maintaining, you’re not just fulfilling your goal, you’re exceeding your goals and every day is better than the day before it.

To get yourself in a peak state walk around, get a great reason why and hit the ground running, and exceed those tasks that you’ve assigned yourself so that you’re getting yourself into an abundance mindset instead of a scarcity mindset.
