Facebook Dating Coming to Europe?
The launch had already been announced last November. It would, therefore, be a matter of time before Facebook launches its dating solution globally.
The tests began in Canada and Thailand and are starting to reach European terrain.
The images show the application running in Dutch and French.
Given the size of the Netherlands, if these plans are right, we should not delay until this global being. And, very potentially, we will have on Facebook Dating, the beginning of the end of Tinder.
Facebook Dating Can End Tinder?
We have seen it happen with applications like Snapchat. Instagram stories have killed that social network.
Facebook Dating follows the same ‘swipe’ method as Tinder. As you know, Facebook does not even have problems copying something successfully.
We are talking about a company with the advantage of having more than 2 billion active users. And a lot of these singles.
That is, the potential of the Facebook family is always great when it comes to such a release.
We may even be talking about the future Queen App as far as dating is concerned.
The site gratisdatingtips.nl discovered the images and show us how the application will run on the smartphone.
Users will be able to access their dating section through their Facebook account. That is, this will be within the Facebook App itself and not separately.
Dating will be inside the Facebook App itself:
You can choose which photos you want or do not want others to see.
As for the remaining data, they will automatically appear, based on the Facebook account.
Besides, each one can place introductory text about you, with up to 500 characters.
From here, it will in all very much resemble Tinder. Apart from the fact that there does not have to be a match to start a conversation.
The user can search with the characteristics you want, such as age, gender, religion or location. Still, other users will only see your first name.
Given these intentions and plans, it should be a matter of time until Facebook Dating is global. As soon as this happens, it is very likely that Tinder will suffer from its arrival.
Not only for the great database that Facebook has but also because Zuckerberg’s company is great at copying success formulas.
