Henry Thomas, former child star of “E.T. extra-terrestrial fame, ”was arrested Monday in Oregon on charges of DUI.
According to Tualatin police, authorities found that Thomas passed out behind the wheel of his car after answering a call from a worried passerby about a suspicious vehicle. Tualatin police told the Times on Tuesday that Thomas's vehicle was not moving and had apparently been idle for several light cycles at an intersection.
Tualatin police took Thomas into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants. According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, Thomas was admitted to the Washington County Jail at 1:48 pm and released at 9:37 am Tuesday.
Your trial date is set for November 1st at 8:30 am. A spokesman for Thomas declined The Times's request for comment on Tuesday.
