Rapper Cardi B is the newest badass girl behind the wheel of the Fast and Furious franchise.
Fast 9 "star Vin Diesel made the revelation on Tuesday when he shared a behind-the-scenes video showing the car-loving Grammy winner – the same infamous one showed his driving skills in a hilarious segment of" Carpool Karaoke "last year.
"Day 86 here on the Fast 9 set." I know I'm exhausted, "said Diesel in the video, which was filmed on the last day of filming on the movie's UK set. “We all gave everything we could for this movie. Put everything on the table, put everything out there. "
"I'm tired," added actress "Hustlers" in her striking style. "But I can't wait. I won't go ahead, this will be the best."
Cardi made her film debut in the stripper movie "Hustlers" earlier this year. Similarly, the next installment of the muscle car franchise already has a large number of formidable women, including Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Nathalie Emmanuel and recurring stars Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster.
Diesel will also be joined by actor-musicians Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris, and actors John Cena and Michael Rooker in the film. Absent from "Fast 9" are Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham – the controversial stars of the "Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw" spinoff.
It is unclear what Cardi's role will be and Universal has not yet shared any further details. What we do know is that she is the latest song to take part in the history of the music star-launching franchise. Latin music star Ozuna was also recently cast in the film and is in talks to work on her soundtrack. It wouldn't be a surprise if Cardi spit some tracks at him too.
"Fast 9" will be directed by "Fast and Furious 6" director Justin Lin. The action movie is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2020.
