Singer and songwriter cam Cam returns with her first taste of new music in two years with the sensual love song "Til There Nothing Nothing Left". The song will be featured on her second album, which will be released on RCA Records later this year.
A song about compromise, Cam's vocals captivate alongside delicate musical accompaniment and a car beat. “I want to lie in the dark / Match your heart / I want to hide with you in the rain / In the eye of a hurricane / I want to call you what you are / give everything I want & # 39; I have to give / until there's nothing left ”, she sings.
Now, a new mother for her first child, Lucy, Cam wrote "Until there's nothing left" for her husband Adam Weaver. "My husband and I are going to drive and give the car a quick back," she says in a statement. “Why am I ashamed to sing about it? "Until there's nothing left" is a commitment. You are saying – I will love you with everything I have, physically, spiritually, I am so involved. "
Cam released an equally catchy music video with the song's release today (February 13). The three-minute clip takes place in an honky tone during what appears to be the beginning of an apocalyptic world. Appropriately, the bar's customers find solace in each other during the destruction, while Cam sings while sitting on a stool.
"It's the end of the world and I know a little place in the eyes of the storm. Let's live our last moments dancing together in the neon glow," says Cam. The video was directed by Dano Cerney (The Chainsmokers, Elle King, Bishop Briggs ) and filmed at the Hitching Post Western Saloon in Portland, Tenn.
