BMW has implemented some changes in several models in its range, also BMW has announced some upgrades in its range.

While there are no confirmations of new models or major renovations in BMW, let’s get to know these updates. The more ‘juicy’ news will stay for later.

From now on, the direction indicators with automatic cancellation become standard. This covers the full range except for the C 650 Sport, C 650 GT, G 310 GS, G 310 R, F 800 R, F 800 GT, S 1000 RR, and S 1000 R.

These blinkers would turn off automatically after a certain distance or time. Now they switch off taking into account several conditions depending also on the speed.

App gets a big update

The BMW Motorrad Connected app will receive a great update, offering more functions proposed by users. The digital maps have been revised, overall based on Tom Tom’s navigation system, and includes the ‘winding route’ function. Users can upgrade the app from August.

The G 310 R, C 400 X, and C 650 Sport receive new paintings, including an HP décor for G and Sport.

The C 650 GT in addition to the new color combinations, now brings the possibility of turning off Side View Assist. Thus, the blind spot detector can be switched off through the menu on the instrument panel.

The electric C evolution also receives new paintings, and the iconic electric green color disappears.

The battery has integrated an electronic system that avoids the total discharge, overload and overheating.

In the tourist K 1600 GT, GTL and B the Hill Start Control Pro (HSC Pro, the ascent start assist system) becomes standard. Some colors disappear, and new ones arrive.

The K 1000 Grand America receives similar changes, and the standard seat becomes 30 mm lower, with only 750 mm of ground clearance. The lower optional seat disappears from the list, but there is a taller seat (780 mm). It also receives an extra loudspeaker for the rear audio system in the top case, with fader control.

R nineT nakeds all receive the original dynamic rear brake light. T ~ in still new colors including Option 719 Black.

Also, the F 750 GS and F 850 GS receive the original dynamic rear brake light.
