Influencer defends motherhood without so much pressure and admits that allows children to run through the supermarket and even skip baths
Blogger causes controversy by saying that she drinks to deal with her children
Australian blogger Constance Hall has nearly 500,000 followers on Instagram and doesn't hesitate to talk openly about the 'B-side' of motherhood. But the influencer has angered a lot of people by revealing, after an interview with the 60 Minutes program, that she drinks wine daily to deal with children who 'drive her crazy'. Program staff found stained carpets and clothing on the floor when they visited their home. In response, Constance said, "This is the modern family, that's what I write about on the blog."
"We have equal rights to go to work, but we are still responsible for 90% of the housework," the blogger said, giving the Daily Mirror a less perfectionist approach to raising children. Constance allows children to eat with their hands, skip baths and run freely in the aisles of supermarkets, for her, excessive dedication to raising children can result in emotional exhaustion.
"It made us even more tired," she said. "Unless we stop, of course, or live in misery. I'm obviously the type I'm doing what I can. It doesn't mean I'm not trying hard not to, but I'm far from the idealized perfection of motherhood."
